Hancock County Fair
The Hancock County Fair kicks off every September and hosts four days of livestock exhibitions, rodeo competitions, midway carnival rides, arts and crafts vendors, and live music performances.
The goal of the Hancock County Fair is to create an annual event that features a fun family atmosphere for all to enjoy. Each year, a portion of the fair profits are allocated for booking live entertainment for the next year's fair along with completing various fairground improvements throughout the year.
The Lights Fest
Last year, Viive Events brought its Lights Fest to the Hancock County Multi-Purpose Arena for the first time. This event strives to bring thousands of people together through live musical performances, great food, and the sharing of personal dreams and goals.
The festival is capped by the release of fire lanterns into the night sky each personalized with dreams, wishes, and dedications to others. The experience of watching the lanterns float away creates a surreal ambiance amid a backdrop of hundreds of other flickering lights during this special time of reflection and remembrance.
