The Hancock County Multi-Purpose Arena is a covered arena that hosts rodeos, livestock shows, barrel racing competitions, sports motor cross, dog shows, food & music festivals, and the annual Hancock County Fair.

Coastal Mississippi hugs the Gulf of Mexico and is approximately an hour’s drive from New Orleans, Louisiana to the west and Mobile, Alabama to the east. Simply take one of the region’s major interstates (I-55, I-65, or I-85) to I-10 and then I-110 or State Highway 49 to US Highway 90, which runs along the Gulf waters.

McLeod Park Campground
Nestled on the shores of the Jourdan River in Kiln, Mississippi, the McLeod Park Campground stands as a pristine camping destination on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. With more than 100 campsites, we have numerous locations on and off the riverfront that will accommodate your needs. All of the campsites have water, sewer, and electrical hookups.

Mississippi Scenic Byways
The Mississippi Scenic Byways Program (MSBP) is a grassroots effort designed to increase the focus on Mississippi’s history and intrinsic resources. The intent of this program is to identify and designate highway, road, and street corridors as scenic byways in an attempt to preserve, enhance and protect the state’s intrinsic resources for visitors and residents of the state.

Sports Complex
The Hancock County Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce the opening of the Hancock County Sports Complex in Kiln, MS. Planning for the Sports Complex started in 2009 with a collaboration effort between the supervisors and the Mississippi Development Authority. Eventually, MDA awarded the park plan a $7 million dollar grant to aid in its development. The Sports Complex features five mix-use baseball fields, restroom facilities, and a concession stand.
